A participant receives a new URSI for every new enrollment in COINS. This is to comply with study closure policy with the IRB to allow a true delink of PHI from the URSI (and research data). If your study will stay open indefinitely or if you plan on closing your studies at the same time, you can use the URSI sharing tool for your subjects that are enrolled across multiple studies.
To enable URSI sharing, edit your Study Details page and select Yes next to Allow URSI Sharing. You must do this for every study for which the URSI can be shared from and to.
