What is COINS Training?
COINS Training is a testing database/environment that is duplicate of the COINS production (non-testing) database/environment. All data created or entered in COINS Training is cleared each time a new release is done and the production database is re-synced to the testing database, allowing for testing with current data and tools. Since data in COINS Training is reset about every two weeks, it is important to remember to make any changes you want to keep in the production (non-test) environment. All data entered into COINS Training will be lost when the database is re-synced with a release!
Any updates (new features and tools) scheduled to be released in the next production update, will be accessible in COINS Training for testing. Please use the support tab to report any bugs or issues you may encounter so they can be fixed before the code is moved into production.
It is important to remember that all COINS Training tools will have the trendscentertest.org domain in the URLs to help distinguish the test environment from the production environment, which have the trendscenter.org domain. Additionally, the training database will also be indicated by the site's background. This background is not present in COINS Training p2 (Self Assessment).
