Mutiple study self enrollment is used if you would like a participant that is currently in the database to enroll into a new study using an stype URL. This will eliminate the need for research staff to enter the participant's information for enrollment and allow the participant to start completing assessments immediately after enrollment.
Provide your participant with the stype URL for the subsequent study in which you would like them to enroll.
Before doing so:
- Make sure that the participant's p2 account is active (look for Yes next to P2 Self Enrollment Active on the subject details page). If their account is not active, go to Change Details, select Yes and click Continue at the bottom of the page.
- Check the subject type to be sure that it is activated for self enrollment. Go to Subject Types from the Study Details page, select Edit next to the desired subject type, select Yes (if not already selected) next to Allow Self Enrollment in the Participant Portal?. Provide the link to the participant.
The participant will enter their existing username (email address) and password and click Login. They will then be directed to a page that indicates that they will be enrolled into the study displayed (if mouse is hovered over it) on the page if they click Enroll. If they do not wish to enroll in the study they can also click Back to return to the login page.
The following page will indicate that they have been enrolled and ask them to click Continue. They will then be directed to their first queued protocol (if study protocols have been set up).
